The Aegis app is designed to protect content on your Shopify storefront. We collect and store the following information:
• Store Information: Your Shopify store domain and basic store settings required for app functionality
• Protection Settings: Your preferences for content protection features (such as disabling right-click, text selection, keyboard shortcuts, and image protection)
• Blocked Countries: Geographic blocking settings you configure for your store
• Product Information: Basic product data required to apply protection settings to specific products
Important: We do NOT collect or store any personal information about your customers, including names, email addresses, payment information, or shopping behavior.
We use the collected information solely to:
• Provide and maintain the content protection features of the App
• Apply your configured protection settings to your storefront
• Enforce geographic blocking based on your settings
• Synchronize product data to apply protection rules
• Improve and optimize the App's functionality
The Aegis app uses Shopify's secure OAuth authentication system. We do not handle or store your Shopify login credentials. All authentication is managed directly by Shopify.
Your app data is stored securely in our database with industry-standard encryption and security measures. We implement appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

We do not share your information with any other third parties except as necessary to provide the App's functionality or as required by law.
You have the right to:
• Access and review the data we store about your store

• Request deletion of your data by uninstalling the App

When you uninstall the App, your store data and settings are automatically removed from our systems in accordance with Shopify's policies.
We retain your store's protection settings and configuration data only for as long as you have the App installed. Upon uninstallation, your data is deleted in accordance with data protection regulations and Shopify's requirements.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
